No go.
I'm modified my initrd image in-order to give me some time to see what's
wrong.
The Adaptec seems to load just fine (I see no errors) but post-load,
when the driver starts scanning the SCSI bus (in working kernels), I see
nothing.
It seems that the drive fails to detect my Adaptec 29160 card.
