Is Redhat/Fedora Losing Interest in KDE?

My point:   changed menus != Bluecurve/gnome-like.  As a matter of fact, 
they made the menus in KDE *different* than gnome, which is exactly the 
opposite of (in your words) "making it (KDE) more GNOME-like"
