This is the relevant section in my xinitrc-common:
if [ -z "$XKB_IN_USE" ]; then
[ -r "$sysmodmap" ] && xmodmap "$sysmodmap"
[ -r "$usermodmap" ] && xmodmap "$usermodmap"
fi
sysmodmap resolves to:
sysmodmap=/etc/X11/Xmodmap
Are you suggesting that I post the xinitrc-common snippet and the contents
of /etc/X11/Xmodmap to bugzilla.redhat.com along with the error from
Xorg.0.log?
