download apt from freshrpms.net 
the rest is done as root    
su - 
<enter password here >
change to the directory to downloaded apt to 
       cd /pathto apt rpm
Install it 
      rpm - Uvh XXXXXXXXX.rpm

update apt 
      apt-get update 
then 
      apt-get install mplayer   

then  you can run it with   
    gmplayer
