Building RPMs

For learning about how to build RPMs, these are my recommendations (in
order):

A useful, boiled down summary from the guy who does FreshRPMs:
The Fight
http://freshrpms.net/docs/fight/
I don´t know how old this one is, but it is probably the best place to
start.

This book is very useful for further information and sorting out the
inevitable nits that crop up:
The RedHat RPM Guide, 2003
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764549650/002-5046907-6861617?v=glance

There is also an older, free book called Maximum RPM (not as useful or
up-to-date - 2000). It is the previous version of the RedHat RPM Guide:
http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm-snapshot/

And a HOWTO from 1999, but I haven´t used it:
http://www.rpm.org/RPM-HOWTO/

Anyway, there are other resources at www.rpm.org as well, including the
rpm mailing list.
