hp zt1180 display problem- fixed

Thanks to all who responded-

It was a simple driver problem.

d/l'd a new driver from http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html

the correct package is xf43sav-27t.tgz

Installed it into /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers

Then changed the settings in Applications > System Settings > Display to

Settings:

Resolution 1400x1050
Color Depth Millions

Hardware:

Monitor Type LCD Panel 1400x1050
Video Card: S3 ProSavage PM133

Now, it's on to the Belkin wireless card
