Yes, i was on several different threads and issues with
via/intel/sound/etc, sorry :) i read through them too, looking for
anything that might remotely be my problem ... tried some things, even
upgraded to the new kernel via up2date, and well, no sound yet. i'm
sorry to hear this is the case for you as well. Xmms, mplayer and the
like, chug away playing their files/streams fine, moving eq meters and
all, but no sound.
i'll still keep looking though.
