After update to the last version dovecot will not work

Hello, I use FC2.
Afer usind the last update for dovecot, I can't get mails.
The mail client says "no inbox for user"
And in the logfile I must read:
  open(/var/mail/test.lock) failed: Permission denied

but why. I have only upate dovecot.
