Web Cams

I have got myself a little confused about web cams. I was looking at the 
Philips chips, and then found that the support for PWC / PWCX has been 
dropped, I've read the site, a rather sad tale (not one I want to 
debate), but now I am wondering what Web cam to buy.

Anyone got any good experiences with web cams that work on FC2 and FC3? 
Would be greatful for coments on any make.
