speedstep-smi.ko broken in 2.6.10-1.741_FC3, i386?

I'm using speedstep-smi.ko on my Intel P4-M 1.8GHz in a laptop to
control CPU speed. Since above kernel version, the module doesn't load
any more, it only says:

FATAL: Error inserting speedstep_smi
(/lib/modules/2.6.10-1.741_FC3/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/speedstep-smi.ko): No such device

No message whatsoever logged to /var/log/messages...

Anyone any idea?
