fc 3 and can't run mozilla or firefox

I found a reason and I am rebuilding firefox myself on FC3.
Anyone from redhat read this stuff?

I wonder why this problem shows up, is it because glibc was built
with the offending gcc?

Here's the gcc bug:

Is there a fix in some fedora updates or something?

If you are having problems building firefox 1.0 then try this patch:
