Yeah, all that I do as root, otherwise I couldn't wirte to the 
linux-2.6.<insert_version_here> under /usr/src ;)

And I tend NOT to make bzImage, since make install will do that for me 
and modify grub.conf, all in one simple command, so why the extra type? ;)
