BIOS update

For what it's worth, I have had a computer hang while updating its BIOS.
The motherboard became a paperweight [1]. (There *are* ways of fixing
this, but the motherboard wasn't worth the expense).

BIOS updates are not risk-free.

[1] And a pretty bad one at that: all the pins underneath the
motherboard poked holes in the paper...
