Cross converting from MP3 to OGG is, sonicly, a disaster.  Each 
compression throws away a different part of the sound, and when you 
effectively run it through both compressors, the results are at best, 
muddy and tiresome to listen to.

To these ears, ogg is the superior sonicly.  You would be far better 
off to re-rip your collection and make new ogg format cd's from it.

The command line options I use for this in Grip are:
-o %m -a %a -l %d -t %n -N %t -G %G -d %y -q7 %w
and I cannot tell the result from the original cd.
