To setup your broadband connection perform the following steps:
1. login as root
2. open the terminal and issue the following command on the prompt #
3. netconfig
4. Then set ipaddress, subnet, gateway and nameserver or dns (provided by ISP)
5. then ok
6. on terminal issue the following command
7.root # /etc/init.d/network restart
8. then logon and surf the net on your fav. browser.
