Hi all,
since some time (4..6 weeks) the printer configuration does
not start properly for me. When starting it from the gnome
start menu 'Applications' | 'System Settings' | 'Printing'
i will be asked for the root password, but nothing more
happens. Trying the same logged in as root doesn't work too.
Starting printconf-gui as ordinary user from the shell asks
for the root password and then terminates with the following
messages:
teberh at verleihnix:~> /usr/bin/printconf-gui

The only way tor start printconf-gui is directly from the root
shell, this works ...
Any ideas to solve the problem ?
Thanks in advance.
