Wow that would be excellent Rahul - very glad to hear that.  Documenting
the reasons behind package movements in the release notes is a worthy aim.

IMHO, it is especially handy to know when a package is being deprecated so
there is time to get on board with the new favorite.  And as you point
out, movement from Core to Extras doesn't always imply this.
