Feedback when using Skype

Hi,

I have a problem with Skype and I'm not sure which end it's at.

My system : FC4 (rawhide), Creative Audigy 2 (heads set connected to the
external black box), 1Gb memory, massive HD storage, Sempron 2400+
processor.

What happens is this. They speak, I hear them clearly, but they get what
they've said back around a second later. I speak, I don't hear myself
back at all.

This sounds like one of two problems - at my end the microphone is too
loud or the headset is too sensitive or at their end, something similar.
Any ideas on finding the solution to this one?
