FC4 OOo file saving to other formats

When I go to save a document I do not have the option
to save in any other format but the native format.  I
do not have my printer hooked up yet, but with OOo
1.1.2 I don't remember having to have a printer
installed to save in other formats.  Has anyone else
encountered this?
