Cannot fine Java while installing Azureus

I have followed the instruction in installing Java Runtime Enviroment 
and Azureus. However, it seems that my system has not recoganize my 
installation of Java as when I type the following:

java -cp swt.jar:swt-pi.jar:Azureus2.jar -Djava.library.path=./ 
org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main
-----------------------------
I recieved error message:
--------------------------------
bash: java: command not found
--------------------------------
So whats wrong with it?
