Redirect Grub or copy new boot

Well, we could to and fro with bunch of diagnostics and try to figure 
out what's gone wrong and how to fix it, but since your FC3 install is 
"new", I'm tempted just to suggest reinstalling FC3 on /dev/hda5 and 
this time tell it to install grub on the root partition of your Fedora 
installation (i.e. /dev/hda5).

It should then "just work".
