I very happily installed firestarter just now. But when I start it I
get this error:
Failed to start the firewall.
The device eth0 is not ready.
Please check your network device settings and make sure your Internet
connection is active.

Fact that i can send this email is proof enough that I'm connected to
the internet! Googleing for the error message return only one result
(whack!) in french. Too bad the only 'french' I know has four
letters...

Can anybody advise me where to go from here? Should I assume from the
errr that IPtables is not currently active? Should I be scared?
