Groundhog's Day w/VMware 4.5.2

I recently did a full reinstall of FC3 on my laptop. Now I have to run
vmware-config.pl after every boot-up or VMware 4.5.2 will not start. Is
anybody else seeing this behavior? Is it one of those SELinux things?
