D-Link DSL 200 problem!

Hello
I am using a DSL connection with an Ethernet modem on Linux-FC3 and it
works fine. The Internet Service Provider at my place ,Bangalore-India
says that a DSL-USB modem does not work with Linux. If I find a
solution I shall definitely get back to you.
