I have problems with libphp5.so

what version of apache/httpd do you have? did you do the install of the
apache app via source or rpms? what version of php are you currently
running? do you have other apps running php?

if i recall, libphp5 is a function of php5, some earlier apps have conflicts
between php4/php5... so you need to be careful.

when dealing with apps, you can't just change one app, without sometines
thinking about what esle is on your system. dependency hell is not fun...

in the event that you really do need php5 (libphp5) then you can elect to
either install/upgrade to php5 from rpms, or you can build the app from
source.

installing from rpms can be as easy as rpm -ivh php*.rpm. here again, check
with the rpm repository to determine what the rpm requires, and what it
provides...
