Compile Failure with fortune (missing recode.h)

Alexander,

Thanks.... Surprised it was there.  I sure did not see it when I looked
the first time.

However my system is missing librecode.so.0

error: Failed dependencies:
        librecode.so.0 is needed by fortune-mod-1.99.1-2.i386

Sorry for asking another simple question, but can you point me in the
right direction again.
