Repository recommendations for FC3 and FC4

| I've been mixing dag, at-stable, and extras, and I suspect that I'm

| earlier package from the fc3 official repo.

| And I haven't been able to use synaptic since atrpms published a new

Well I'm not the right one to advice on the use of repositories other
than that I am using YUM as adviced here:

http://www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware

and please read the instruction/warnings in the yum.conf file with
regards to include / exclude repositories.

Also, I successfully upgraded my clamav using synaptic and I now have
the following version: 0.85.1.4-fc3.

Are you not able to resinstall synaptic through apt-get?  Seems to work
for me:

[root at localhost truls]# apt-get install synaptic
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
synaptic is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 0 not upgraded.
[root at localhost truls]#
