I don't know if it's related, but when I log into a KDE session I get a 
kwrited window open with the following text:

I don't know if it's related because I don't think IRQ 10 is involved 
with my sound card.  I've included the full /proc/pci file to see if 
anyone can see what's causing it and whether or not it's related to the 
sound issue.
