RPM stopped working

Hi,

Today RPM 'stopped' working. It seems it does everything (like searching 
etc), except installing (and testing) packages. It spits out a nice line 
to indicate that the package isn't signed, but after that nothing 
happens. No resource usage. No pretty 'Preparing..." line. Nothing. I've 
no clue on what might be wrong.
I hope someone can help,
My system is an up to date (as of yesterday) FC3.
