Why Fedora ?

Well, FWIW, I think the connotations of "cutting edge" and "bleeding
edge" are slightly different.  To me, the former represents the latest
and greatest that actually works, where as the latter represents the
absolute newest code available, which will almost certainly crash or
even cause damage to your system (hence the reference to blood).
So I don't agree. :)

I think they would disagree with you, as do I.

HUH?  Compare Fedora to Debian Stable.  There is a UNIVERSE of
difference between the two.  Compare to other distros and get varying
degrees of difference in between the two.
