FC4: jittery DVD playback

The issue could be the controller that is on your new MB.  I have a 
new laptop that has the same problem.  I cannot get DMA to work for 
the controller chip.  I have not had a chance to try different things 
yet but the latest kernel is much better.

Have you installed xine and run xine-check?
