Error in arpd on fedora core 3

Hello thr,

   I configured arpd successfully on fedora core 3 but now when I am
trying to run it, its giving me following error:

arpd: error while loading shared libraries: libevent-1.1a.so.1: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don't know whats this error is and how to solve it. Does anyone have
reply or solution for this?
