FC4 Crached / Hached or what it is, --- please help

 /dev/sda4 has lvm2 and Under knoppix I am unable to mount (mamage)
/dev/sda4 which i hope is to be done by

 knoppix  does not support lvm?
I am unable to access logical volumes to do fsck

Yes but /home has my files and nothing from OS. That's why it is
required to be restored.

PS: On knoppix 3.9 I am using  - Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4 is not opening
any webpages, just keeps ticking its clock; and konqueror 3.4.0 is not
a "fully supported browser"  says Gmail !!!
