gcc compiler problem

Hi everyone, this problem is really weird, I'm not even able to install a program!

I followed the instruction, typing

> If you made an everything install, all you need to do
> is type 
> $ export CC=gcc32 
> and then run ./configure again
> 

what I get now is the following:

$ checking for C compiler default output file name...configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables.

what do u think?
any suggestion?
