FC4 Installer and asus P5GL-MX I915GL chipset Crash -> Kernel Panic

Curious.   Ran into this same problem just yesterday, but found your 
solution in my list archive.   It works, of course.  Obviously, grub 
does something in processing the error that makes everything work, so 
why can't grub just go ahead and do that same something when it starts 
up?  Has this been put into Bugzilla?  I looked there first and couldn't 
find it, but did when going through my saved list mail.
