5 inch floppies

Hmm - did you tell the system BIOS what you have done?
That is change the floppy type to 5 1/4" 1.2MB  or 360k?

Watch the boot screen it should tell you what (if any) floppies are set
in the BIOS.

Most of them will not auto-detect a new floppy.
