Dear All I have a symbolic link /desk to my desktop (/home/psmith/Desktop). Frequently, when I copy something to my desktop, the respective icon only shows up on the next X session. Is there some workaround to force the icons to show up immediately? (I am using KDE.) Thanks in advance, Paul
