Problem with Siemens Amilo Notebook in FC4

it is a bug in xorg reported at:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=168561

try to boot in runlevel 3 and downgrade to previous xorg version or
change your driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf to "vesa" (I think you use I810
driver). to prevent this bug until it's fixed add next line into your
/etc/yum.conf file:
exclude=xorg*

Having a Siemens Amilo Notebook. After the last update with "yum update"
on Sep 19, no more X11 possible: Even using the FC3 libvgahw.a  was
without success. If starting X11, no X screen appears, but some pixel
salad.

Any help appreciated.
