Help to use twin 1 gig lan ports

Gigabit switches (and switches by nature actually) are full duplex,
meaning they can send and receive at the same time, so there would be no
benefit to doing RX on one NIC and TX on the other.  What you want is
bonding so that sending and receiving are split between the NICs:
