Gnome 2.12 in FC4

FYI: I actually installed Gnome 2.12 using the above tutorial and it did
take a little finagling to get it to work but none the less I am back up
and running.
There were a few packages that needed some upgrades outside the Gnome
core but everything seems to be working just fine so far.

as for those of you interested I'll keep you posted how things go over
the next couple of days if I have any major issues but nothing has
reared it's head yet. At least with the applications I use most often.
The only problems that have come up so far was the Firefox/Thunderbird
invisible font issue. A yum update of both packages corrected the
problem without event.
