Rollback from implimenting sendmail.pem

Package group:
Sendmail 8.13.6
Dovecot-0.99.14
POP-before-SMTP-1.36-2

Scenario:
Implimented Dovecot-IMAP and SMTP Auth as per
http://www.joreybump.com/code/howto/smtpauth.html
Rolled back by rebuilding /etc/mail/sendmail.cf and renaming cert to
/etc/pki/tls/certs/senmail.pem.bak

Problem now is that relaying is denied on SMTP but can POP3.

Please advise as to what I am missing.
