How to start "init 3" at boot

AFAIK this is done from inittab, not grub. So.....
Edit your file /etc/inittab and change the line that probably says:
"
# Default runlevel. The runlevels used by RHS are:
# 0 - halt (Do NOT set initdefault to this)
# 1 - Single user mode
# 2 - Multiuser, without NFS (The same as 3, if you do not have
networking)
# 3 - Full multiuser mode
# 4 - unused
# 5 - X11
# 6 - reboot (Do NOT set initdefault to this)
#
id:5:initdefault:
"
Now change the 5 in the last line to 3 and you are a go.
If you mean a different feature, I am very interested to know what you
did in FC3.
