FC5_64 fails to start

I even have no chance setting up pppoe to connection Internet.  After a
few clicks the mouse pointer hung together with the PC.

I tried turning off "HWCursor" on xorg.conf as advised by a folk on the
mailing list but the problem still remaining intact.
