It is done via symlink:

bash-3.1$ pwd
/etc/ndiswrapper/bcmwl5
bash-3.1$ ll
total 864K
8.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root  682 Apr 17 09:32 14E4:4318.5.conf
4.0K lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   16 Apr 17 12:11 14E4:4319.5.conf -> 14E4:4318.5.conf
468K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 457K Apr 17 09:32 bcmwl564.sys
384K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 375K Apr 17 09:32 bcmwl5.inf

All that below there was added by hand. Some of the above variables
were also added by hand. I just went through the various ifup-*
scripts (eg. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-*) noting the various
env vars that might be useful to set.

If VZ's named works for you then good enough, but they strike me as
pretty confused about dns in general. Any interested hobbyist should
be able to do better. (Just look at the lack of proper rDNS for a
good portion of their outgoing mailhosts for one glaring example.)
