Fedora (RedHat) doesn't release complete Kernel Source for FC5

Not sure if I get the full benefit of completely understanding your 
rant, but RHAT only have to make available sources to match the binaries 
they distribute.  If they threw out some sources so they are not in the 
binary, it's perfectly fine if they are not present in the associated 
source tree given out.  I don't understand your confused complaint.
