How to use dvgrab.

Hi,
I am trying to capture video from my camcorder and am running into
some problems.

1. When I type in dvgrab in the terminal, it only works from the
terminal. There is no gui. I need the gui so that I can use it
correctly.

2. dvgrab only runs if I am root. Is this suppose to happen?
