This is MATLAB 7.0.0.19901 (R14), the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL trick does not work
at all but
interestingly enough under an older FC5 kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp without
the trick
matlab is able to run! With the trick it segfaults.
