Testing iso downloads?

Yes, this is what the SHA1SUM file is for.

$ sha1sum -c SHA1SUM

The media check is pretty useless on some hardware (this is due to a
long standing kernel bug) and you may get a successful install
regardless of a mediacheck failure.
