problems accessing cvs

Hello,

I installed fc6 yesterday, and want to update some fo the gnome modules from cvs, however, when Itry to log into gnome's cvs, I keep getting a time out.

I have unloaded iptables, disabled selinux, and double-checked with folks on the gnome list to ensure my syntax is correct.

Now I need to know is there something else I can look for?

command used:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at anoncvs.gnome.org/cvs/gnome login

leave the  password blank.

I am not behind any kind of firewall, and when I had fc4 isntalled a while back, it worked just fine with this configuration.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
