FC6 DVD as a repository for yum/pirut ?? [SOLVED]

well guys !  I made a silly mistake !
in yum.conf, the baseurl must be set to file:///mnt/dvd/ instead of
file://mnt/dvd/
one extra '/' made all the difference !. thank you all . sorry for
bothering . . .
